How Your Business Can Invest In Wind Energy

The climate for investing in Renewable Wind Energy is very good now, with many financial incentives that can reduce your capital investment. If you are an Agricultural Producer or any Rural Business (not within a metropolitan area with a population of 50,000 or more) you have even more incentives. I have three examples of cost breakdowns for the cost of a Wind Energy Systems that will fit the needs of most businesses. The one limiting requirement is that you must have 3-phase power and not single phase.

We have 50KW, 200/225KW and 750KW turbines available.

I will give you some rough examples of determining the size that will be appropriate for you. The following will be based on an average retail price of electricity at 8.5 cents per KWh

  • If you use over 6,000KWh of electricity per month, or
  • Your electric bill is over $500,or
  • It is less than this but you are in an area with "high" electric rates,
  • You are likely to be a good fit for our 50KW wind turbine, the Entegrity EW 50 www.entegritywind.com
  • If you use over 30,000KWh of electricity per month, or
  • Your electric bill is over $2500,or
  • It is less than this but you are in an area with "high" electric rates,
  • You are likely to be a good fit for our 200/225KW wind turbine, the Norwin 29-Stall-225 kW www.norwinamerica.com
  • If you use over 140,000KWh of electricity per month, or
  • Your electric bill is over $12,000,or
  • It is less than this but you are in an area with "high" electric rates,
  • You are likely to be a good fit for our 750 KW wind turbine, the Norwin ASR 47 750KW www.norwinamerica.com

  • These are all rough guidelines and very greatly based on your energy usage patterns. The above guidelines are for the “Perfect” energy usage of being equal demand 24/7, this would be for businesses that operate three shifts a day or ones that have loads like refrigeration that run 24 hrs a day. There is no need to be concerned if you run one shift a day and don’t have much if any loads the rest of the time we will look at your usage and adjust the turbine to optimize your wind turbine sizing.

Please look over the following three pages and see the savings you could be receiving with the installation of a wind turbine for your business. Then give us a call.

We are available to talk with you about your interests in wind energy for your business. Call Chris Land at (307) 360-7015. It will be helpful if you have your energy bills with you when you call so we can be more specific with our help.
